harpsichord, We have several lines
of instruments, all constructed only on order in the most
purely artisan-like tradition. Assembled and painted by
hand, their musical regulation is done by ear and touch.
These lines share the same reputation of high musical
quality, excellent touch, and reliability. They are
distinguished by 3 different signatures:
1. The top of the line instruments signed "Marc Ducornet":
They are finished
individually with few options apart from decorative ones,
and normally delivered with table stand, light dust cover,
etc.. Note especially our French Double after Hemsch, the
Flemish which is an exact copy of the Colmar Ruckers, the
North German school harpsichord, the exact copy of the
Silbermann spinet, and the muselaar.
2. The
instruments signed "Atelier
Marc Ducornet":

These are offered in basic versions, like the Franco-Flemish model, or simplified, like the French Hemsch school, certain Flemish models and the Silbermann spinet, each with many possible options. |
3. The
instruments signed with a Logo
"AMD":
|
The simplicity of conception and finish means these instruments combine a high musical level and excellent touch with a very competitive price. We feature here a small French Single with 56 notes (GG - d''') and one or two 8' registers, and, since November 96, a compact and lightweight Spinet after Delin with the same 56-note compass. |
